Identity and Address Verification

When you apply for finance or a savings account with PCF Bank, it is vitally important that we satisfy legal requirements concerning your identity and address. In short, we have to verify that you are who you claim to be, and that you possess a current address in the United Kingdom.

The tables below show the documentation that we will accept to satisfy these requirements.

Certified documents will need to be signed and stamped by a bank official, doctor, or lawyer, who has known you for more than twelve months. If you do not know anyone who can fulfil these criteria, you can use an alternative certification service provided by the Post Office, using their Document Certification Service.

Documents used to confirm identity must show your full first name and surname (initials are not acceptable). If we require you to confirm your identity, please send one document from List A – a certified photocopy is acceptable.

To confirm your address, please send one document from List B. Original documents are required unless you are using your United Kingdom driving license, in which case a certified photocopy is acceptable.
